Ishtiaq Ahmed obtained his Ph.D degree in 2007 from Germany working on the synthesis of bioactive oligomeric flavonoids. He carried out his postdoctoral research on the synthesis of chiral macrolide building blocks from sugar. Dr. Ishtiaq joined Fruk group at Cambridge University in 2020 and currently, he is working on nanozyme for enzyme replacement and cofactor recycling project funded by Hitachi. His research interests focus on the development of new synthetic methodology and synthesis of the multifunctional organic compounds for the modification of nanoparticles having different biological applications.
