Ljiljana Fruk, Professor of BioNano Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology
Prof Fruk collaborates with Hitachi to develop nanozymes for CO2 upcyling (EPSRC Prosperity Partnership) and innovative biosensing platforms. Her research focuses on the synthesis and functionalisation of nanomaterials for applications in catalysis and precision medicine, particularly in early cancer detection and the design of next-generation nano carriers for targeted drug delivery.
